Evaluation Firmware Versions
The 1.53 firmware version also comes in two additional evaluation versions, Click on Touch and Absolute Mouse.
These versions are only to be used for evaluation purposes and should not be used in a live or production environment. For more information or if you have any questions, please contact Neonode Support.
Click on Touch
The Click on Touch feature is intended to be used on systems where the touch mainly happens mid air. For example, holographic or Touchless Touch solutions.
The click on touch feature is also available in the standard 1.53 firmware as well as the 1.53 extended range firmware. In those firmwares the feature is not enabled
by default, but is instead available as a setting that is defined in our ASN.1 Serialization Protocol.
Please read more about contactless touch here: Introduction to Contactless Touch Solutions
The Absolute Mouse firmware version will make the operating system recognize the sensor as an absolute mouse device instead of a HID Touch Device.
This is mostly used for legacy systems or systems that do not have support for HID Touch Digitizer.
